I want to assure you that the information that you submit to the petition will not be sold, used, or submitted to any other entity, other than the Democratic National Committee and/or the Florida Democratic Committee. When the data is submitted to the DNC/FDC, your email address will not be sent. We are doing this to avoid any fundraising harrassment you may otherwise have to endure.

Your complete name, city and state will be sent, along with the text of the petition. Email addresses are used to verify that you are a bona fide human being. That is why you must go through a confirmation routine to make sure that they email address you are sending is real. This helps us to keep out any spammers who might want to sign the petition 'for fun'.
